Topstitching the jacket

Here is the topstitching test for the military jacket.  On the top is the belt from the original jacket, which has rows of topstitching on it, the swatch below is my test swatch.  From left to right, sewing thread, with a small stitch (#2 on my machine), Sulky rayon thread small stitch, Sulky rayon thread doubled (forming loops= no good), and finally the rayon thread large stitch.  I'm leaning towards the sewing thread because it matches the original jacket.  I might save the rayon thread for another item in my wardrobe, so that it coordinates with the jacket.

Color matching has been a challenge with this fabric, which looks grey and bleh, under halogen lighting, but looks like the color I remember dark olive/teal green, under flourescent lights (which was the store light), or natural sunlight.  The rayon thread was an exact match in the store, but in my house it looks lighter.
