I would like to make this in a charmeuse with a nice scallop edge lace, but to try it out for the first time, I'm using some cotton lawn, and swiss dot in my stash.
I hope to be able to try out some of those featherweight attachments for the fine hemming to come....
Don't write to me to tell me I have Attention Deficit Disorder, hopefully all of these projects will be finished by the end of the week....the quilt is excluded:)

i would be the last to comment on such a situation. i currently have 12 quilts (yes 12) in the "pipeline." 3 t shirts, 2 coats and 2 aprons. (just bought that fabric today, in washer.) my current lifestyle is really basic for 3 days of the week now and i found that an apron with pockets is essential. i am sloppy. i just ordered a nautical theme embroidery disc set to stitch up some new things for my sisters new house. i have about 6 weeks or so to pull that off. talk about attention deficits!
Wow, 12 quilts, I think my head would explode, I just look at my pile of fabrics for the quilt and think.... how am I going to combine all of these? I'm sure it will be fun.... I have one UFO, which is a tailored jacket that I was so disappointed with I need a little more time before I can revisit it.
