One step forward, two steps back. I am almost finished with these pants, that are for a friend of mine and I fipped it over after finishing the pockets and zipped the slider up off of the pant. I am annoyed with myself, because for some reason, this pattern that I have made now 3 times, was supposed to be easy. I was just a waistband away from finishing. Sigh. I'll put this aside until I can look at it again, I don't want to do anything in haste.
I have half of the slider in, but the other half is just not budging. I might take it to a cobbler and see if he can coax it back in, my fingers are throbbing from trying.
The only bright side to this is another project I'm working on, which is almost done. A sneak peek below.

Rub a soft graphite pencil over the zipper teetch before you try again. It is like "oiling" it and may allow the slider to slip over the teeth more easily and back where it belongs. (Then wipe it off with a cloth, of course.)
Thank you Ruth, I'll try that. I could get half of it on, but the other side is giving me a headache.
