1912 Corset pattern - I can't stop

I've made progress, so quickly that it's surprising to me!!
The tart or the elegant lady, I'm on the fence.

What's different from the last post?
Front facing was completed with busk inserted.

Slitting the fabric was period correct for busk loop openings, but with the satin raveling like crazy, I sewed little squares and cut in the centers to slide the busk loops through.
Reinforcing the busk loop slits

Back facing was sewn and the grommets are added.

Then the lacing was inserted. It's loose on the dress form waiting for the final fitting tomorrow.

I'm up to week 7, on Bridges on the Body, and making bias will be the next step.

Yes, I'm on fire, giving my hands a rest now. It's done!! Just a little trim work down the road. Are you going to try one?

Wow!! Your corset looks fantastic!!I do alterations at a local bridal shop and when we do the corsets it is no way near what you have done. Yours is the real thing. We take out the back Zipper and add loops. Great job on this project!!!
