Tokyo - Tokyo Train Station
This is Tokyo Station, which is a city unto itself.
In addition to the Bullet trains, and most of the subway lines, it houses approximately 200 restaurants and cafes. In addition to grocery stores, cobblers, dry cleaning, clothing store, souvenir stores, I mean everything.
The coffee here is very very good.
The most expensive sandwich is $5.44.
They have supermarkets in the train station.
And bakeries
This was fantastic, a pork chop with Roquefort sauce and baked potatoes, I need to look for a recipe when I get back. It's a very small serving when I think of home, but it was exactly right. Maybe it's time to eat better, and a little less at home.
Oh look!! a recipe, this will be a treat for sure, not something you can have every night.

This was dessert, a mango lassi (mango yoghurt), with some added sparkling water, very tasty.
This was very satisfying, and I wanted to come back to try another menu item the following day, but could not find the restaurant, and finally had to abandon my plans and go somewhere else.
Well, now it's time to walk a bit...
This is a few blocks from the station, and it looks like they've started decorating for Christmas.
Someone is getting married, and they're having their engagement photos taken. There are a number of these kinds of reenactments, this is the first I've seen in more western clothes, but periodically I've seen the Japanese in their more traditional clothing taking photos on the streets with professional photographers.
