Kanazawa - Contemporary Museum of Art & The Suzuki Museum

Kanazawa Contemporary Museum of Art

There are a few outdoor installations that are fun.

Tsuno Seiran
The Unreconciled body
I found this funny, some days I feel like the unreconciled body

This is James Turrell, the opening in the top, is the sky, so the exhibit changes throughout the day.
James Turrell is interesting, he grew up in a Quaker family, he is considered the "master of light".

This was interesting, art made with washi tape.  I could see this in a teenagers room.

This was supposed to represent the collaboration between the crafts, so there's pottery, lacquer, embroidery and fabric in this exhibit.

Fun with clay

Art made with road signs

This was fun, there's a room under this "pool", you need to make a reservation to go in.

The D.T. Suzuki Museum

I really enjoyed this space, so I picked self reflection, actually what I really did was watch the bugs in this super modern environment.  They looked like art.

Next the Samurai district and the Omicho (fish market)
