Tokyo Gotokuji Temple
On the way to the temple, a train station florist.
This is the entrance Gotokuji Temple, as I'm getting closer to my departure, I'm slowing down a bit.
The weather has been terrific, and the temple visits, even though I don't practice any of these religions, do have an effect. The grounds are so well kept, if you arrive early in the morning, you'll find gardeners tending to the plants, and it is so peaceful.
You can read more about Gotokuji here.

There is a cemetery at this temple.
Here we have everyone purifying with the incense, here one of the grounds keepers was handing out incense for you to add to the others in the burner.
Hmm I wonder which animal is represented by this temple?
These are the offerings in the Temple store
I haven't seen a lot of insects, although they say that the mosquitos are bad in the summer. This little guy, is a pest in Japan, kamemushi , or stink bug. The mountain accommodations were equipped with fly swatters for you to dispose of them during your stay.
This looks like lantana.
Cats rule here.
