Tokyo Police Box Ginza & Wako bakery

So much to see just walking around Tokyo.  I walked past this twice, just a little monument in the middle of the city.  Across the street, the Police Box, have you ever seen anything like this?

Former Ginza Monument

February 26, 1895
An important member of the club, the area was built and burned, and a number of buildings were destroyed.

Tokyo Governor Kimiyoshi Yuri has planned and implemented fireproof construction in the entire affected area of Ginza using government funds.
Completed a two story brick arcade style western style building.  It was nicknamed Brick Street and was the foundation of the Ginza street shopping district.

The Ginza 1-chome police station is a notable koban (police box) in Tokyo known for its unique architectural design and its location in the Ginza district. It serves as a small, local police station that provides assistance to the public, including help with directions, reporting crimes, and handling lost and found items. You can easily reach it by taking the metro to Ginza-Itchome station.

Oh look diamonds... or baked goods.... Wako x Ashoka

Looks promising..

Look more Mont Blanc desserts....

I just want to draw your attention to the packaging.

First the bit that stabilizes the dessert, and you'll notice the mini ice packs on the side.

I was afraid of tipping it over when I removed it from the box.

Mont Blanc = White Mountain (perhaps a nod to Mt Fuji)

This is difficult to describe, according to their website, the "Mont Blanc" cake is made with a cream made from a combination of French marron paste and Japanese chestnut paste from Kumamoto Prefecture.

After looking at recipes for this dessert, this has two additional layers.  My best guess from top to bottom, chestnut paste (icing), whipped cream, lightened chestnut cream (or it could be a cake), genoise and chocolate meringue. It was much better than the already tasty version in Nagano.
