New Storyboard Mini Wardrobe for Spring

I haven't completely given up on the LMB  trench coat, but it's going to the backburner.  I have some silk faille that would look better for that pattern and I'm in a Navy frame of mind.  So here's the next plan, and an attempt at coordinating pieces to lend a little more versatility to my wardrobe.  It also doesn't hurt that all of the pieces are also needed for my 10 Essential pieces.

Also in a navy frame of mind here, probably because I just unearthed lot of navy double knit fabric! Lots of white too! I determined to use up this stash! My dear Mum (age 93) needs all new basics too. That should put a dent! The fabric you chose for the shirt...is that linen, chambray, poplin?

The shirting fabric is a seersucker with a square dobby motif. I have to get better pics of the fabrics they all look pretty dismal.

I think a Navy and white wardrobe will be nice for mom. Will you be making everything for her?

I make several items per season. Fitting issues are a problem because she is in Virginia Beach, so most of what I make are simple shirts, dresses and pants. She has been ill and lost some weight recently, so I send a test shirt to have my sister check for size and fit and build from that, like a muslin. Always interesting. Last summer all she wanted was Mumu's. I have another one cut out now and will send it, no fitting problems there!

You are very organized, it's good to have a sister that can check the fit for you, I'm sure that's not without it's challenges. Even when I fit someone I'm always second guessing if I've taken in enough or not enough. Long distance sewing, I take my hat off to you.

Looks like a great plan! I haven't seen a seersucker like that before, I totally dig!
