a thing to make a tiny fabric tube and pull it through to pull it right side out.

I think it's a gadget to pull knit pulls to the wrong side; you close it up, poke it through from the wrong side, let the latch open to snag the pull, then pull it through to the back side; the latch will close, dragging the pull to the wrong side.

No clue, maybe something to pull snags in knitwear? Something to do with lacemaking?

Just remembered something, a friend asked me a similar question the other day, we were in her kitchen and she pointed to a big thing in the corner, with knobs. I explained it was a stove. She is still in shock! That explained so much :)

The hook part resembles a tool used to address pulls in knots; it is inserted from the wrong side, captures the loop or snag on the right side… you close the little hasp and pull the offending fiber to the wrong side. Hope that helps a little

It looks like a knit picker to pull the snags through the fabric - https://www.joann.com/knit-picker-3in-latch-hook-tip/2614774.html?adlclid=48a3f8f7711a19dffbf598265a2e448c&msclkid=48a3f8f7711a19dffbf598265a2e448c&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=%5BADL%5D%20%5BPLA%5D%20%5BShopping%5D%20All%20Products&utm_term=4585238370344289&utm_content=All%20Products

All good guesses, it looked like a miniature version of my knitting machine needles. The girls at PR have investigated and found it to be a tool for reweaving. I may have to try it out.

celkalee, you are encouragable.
