Creating Trim part deux - Chanel Jacket

knit and ribbon trim

I've been knitting all night and even pulled out a crochet hook in the hopes of creating other options for the trim.  I won't show you my crochet projects, none of them was as good as these. Below are some of the knit options, and the best thing about them, is that there is unlimited yardage for this project (except for the white ribbon combination, depending on where the ribbon is used).

These were a little less successful for this project.

knitting all night, sounds like me! The photo's coming in on my laptop are sort of foggy. I will check on the big screen. I think I like the first one, which sort of surprises me because initially I like a high-contrast option before. Oh, who knows, I'm sort of off the last few days. Or weeks, or months, but who's counting? Either way, the jacket is lovely.

The photos this past week have been bad due to the stormy weather we've been having, so even here they are a bit dark.

Funny how we change our minds... we are completely allowed.

Thank you Sheila! I think I'm having too much fun to actually finish it :)
